Chris Ugochukwu is a seasoned financial and management consultant with over 30 years of experience. He began his banking career in 1992 with Bank of America NT & ST Trading in Nigeria (then Merchant Bank of Africa), gaining deep expertise in banking operations, treasury management, and corporate finance. Chris later joined Diran Onigbogi & Co, a leading Chartered Accounting firm, where he rose to lead the consulting division. He then served as Chief Financial Officer at Alternate Market Limited, a specialist financial derivatives firm. With a strong entrepreneurial spirit, Chris founded DHN Consulting, where he now leads as the principal consultant. He holds a Bachelor’s degree, Postgraduate Diploma, and Master’s degree in Banking & Finance. Committed to continuous learning, Chris recently completed an advanced Commercial Negotiation Skills course at the West African Institute for Financial & Economic Management (WAIFEM), supported by the Central Banks of West African countries. He brings over 30 years of experience in banking and finance across countries. He served as CEO of First International Bank (Liberia) Limited from 2009 to 2013 and was President of the Liberian Bankers Association during that time. His earlier career spans more than two decades in senior executive roles at leading Nigerian banks, where he played a key role in strategic leadership and sectoral growth. He is a graduate of Economics, and Finance from the Universities of Ife and Lagos. He holds dual Doctorate Degrees in Economics, Banking and Finance from the Paris School of Business. He has also completed advanced executive programs at INSEAD Business School (Paris) and Columbia Business School (New York). Dr. Ashmole currently serves as a Director of the Nigeria-Israel Chamber of Commerce and sits on several other boards. He brings to our firm a deep well of industry insight, international exposure, and strategic expertise.

He holds an HND in Estate Management from Yaba College of Technology, providing him with a solid understanding of property valuation, asset management, and real estate economics. Further strengthening his expertise, he earned a Postgraduate Diploma from the University of Ogun State, Ago-Iwoye, equipping him with advanced skills in management and analytical problem-solving. Complementing his technical background, Mr. Chris obtained an LLB degree from the University of Bradford, UK, and a professional qualification from the Nigeria Law School (BL).
